The SFSWMA is governed by the Joint Powers Board (JPB). The JPB has three seats for the City and three seats for the County. City Councilors and County Commissioners are appointed to fill these seats. Generally, they meet the third Thursday of every month at the Santa Fe County Courthouse, 102 Grant Avenue, 2nd floor in the Legal Conference Room at noon.
